Description:

We are now looking for an experienced IT Applications Specialist (PDM) who would be part of the growing IT organization at Bluefors. Are you interested in high-end technology and working in a cutting-edge field? Are you always eager to learn more? If yes, please do read more!
I this role you will be supporting the development of PLM Program, by developing and maintaining PDM system configuration. You will translate business needs into functional specifications for PTC Creo and PTC Windchill. As this is a new role at Bluefors you would have the opportunity to define and develop the IT Application Specialist role based on your previous experience and industry best practices. To be successful on this role you need to be able to communication with business and engineering topics and also understand the impact of IT on business processes and performance.

Main responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining PDM system configuration
  • Translating business needs into functional specifications for PTC Creo and PTC Windchill
  • Supporting integrations development with other IT applications
  • Supporting business process development from technical side by staying up-to-date with the latest features and updates in CAD and PDM to optimize data management
  • Working in close collaboration with PDM partner and internal admins and Key Users
  • Document processes, configurations, and technical specifications to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure scalability

What we expect from you

  • Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with IT applications such as PDM or ERP
  • Deep technical knowledge of IT system configuration supporting business processes
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Great mindset towards teamwork and project framework mindset

We also appreciate

  • Experience working with Efecte, Jira or similar tools
  • Working experience with Roima LEAN ERP
  • Previous experience as PDM / PLM Administrator (PTC Windchill preferred)
