WHAT DO I NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?

• Solid experience working with Finance business systems
• Able to work flexible hours with teams across various global locations and time zones
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical terms
• System implementation and/or support experience
• Previous experience of IFS Financial Application an advantage (namely Apps 10 and Cloud)
• Technical knowledge of systems e.g. basic understanding of systems architecture, SQL, database structures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Aptitude to learn and apply new technologies and understand business processes
• Understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management processes and fram

It is a customer focused and service orientated role where the incumbent is required to promote and manage customer expectations whilst executing and managing internal delivery processes. Some key responsibilities will include:

• Perform month-end/year end related Application activities
• Amend business processes and security setup within finance applications as required
• Produce and maintain financial application support documentation
• Create/modify data migration jobs in IFS as and when required for BAU and project activities
• Provide support for incident management and integration monitoring for finance applications
• Ensuring all support queries, change requests and approvals are fulfilled through ServiceNow ensuring the right resources are engaged to remediate level 3 issues
• Ensure audit compliance requirements are fulfilled
• Provide level 1 and 2 support to end users by addressing system-related queries, issues, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring a smooth operation of financial application
