For our offices in Munich, we are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position of

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5 years or more extensive experience in IT service management, with a focus on business applications and enterprise software
  • Ability to provide customer service through collaboration and partnership with both business peers and IT colleagues
  • In depth working knowledge of ITSM Tools and IT Asset Management
  • Good knowledge of ITIL standards
  • Strong negotiation and vendor/stakeholder relationship management skill as well as prioritization skills and experience
  • Strong ability to analyze very complex situations in unknown environments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international team environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentations skills in English, German or any other European language is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of all business applications, custom applications, and other software tools
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of business applications through effective monitoring and maintenance procedures
  • Develop and implement strategies for application lifecycle management, including upgrades, patches, and enhancements
  • Collaborate with business application owners, department heads, and end-users to understand their requirements and priorities regarding business applications.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for application-related issues, inquiries, and enhancement requests
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations, provide updates, and solicit feedback
  • Manage relationships with software vendors, service providers, and consultants involved in the delivery and support of business applications
  • Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and licensing agreements
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to assess potential vendors and solutions
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency gains within the business application environment
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of application services and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Ensure that regular status update for projects and services are conducted with all stakeholders to review performance against the agreed milestones and service levels and to exchange information about ongoing projects and new demands
