At ING we encourage you to do your thing, to do more of what you love. This is also the way we articulate our promise to offer frictionless banking. The IT Area Lead for Enterprise Domain plays a pivotal role within the technology department of ING Australia, reporting directly to the Head of Enterprise & Transformation Programs. This leadership position encompasses the oversight and management of the end-to-end technology stack within the Enterprise Tribe. The Enterprise landscape supports our shared corporate service functions (HR, legal, facilities, communications), our finance department, the risk and regulatory delivery portfolio as well as our wholesale banking function. As the IT Area lead for this pivotal area, you will spearhead transformative initiatives managing both change and run teams across multiple domains and overseeing complex projects with moderate to high impact. The mandate encompasses not only technological advancement but also strategic development and alignment, ensuring our technology infrastructure empowers our enterprise operations roadmap.
You’ll demonstrate strong leadership qualities, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of driving transformative change within technology organizations. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration, the IT Area Lead inspires teams to innovate, adapt to evolving market trends, and exceed performance expectations. They are effective in managing various stakeholders at different levels including EXCO members and will assist the Head of Technology in managing partnerships both within the organisation as well as with external vendors.
This role requires an accomplished technology leader to make a significant impact within ING, shaping the future of digital banking and driving technological innovation across the organization.
