Overall, the role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, knowledge of IT infrastructure and software licensing, Contract management and effective communication abilities.
Good knowledge in Open system operating system and TCPIP related protocols like SSH,SFTP,WMI SNMP
In-charge of Installing and setup Device42 ITAM solution for the bank.
Work with principle closely on setup and implementation.
Scan and register all IT assets installed in DCs. (Assets includes Open systems, Security appliances, Unix systems, AS400 Systems, Windows servers VMs, network devices and storage appliances etc.)
Engage and work closely work with all platforms teams
Scan and register the devices segment by segment, perform UT and SIT and prepare all SDLC documents.Reconcile the scanned results against excel data and fix the discrepancies.
Fix the discrepancies if any and make sure that the data is 100% accurate in Device42.
Process documents for on boarding and decommission
Handover the solution to product owner
Managing the lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to disposal.
Conducting inventory audits and maintaining accurate records of hardware and software assets.
Analysing data to identify opportunities for cost savings, optimization, and risk reduction.
Developing and implementing asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.
Collaborating with procurement teams to negotiate contracts and licensing agreements.
Ensuring compliance with software licensing agreements and regulatory requirements.
Providing support during software audits and vendor assessments.
Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in IT asset management
