WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE:
Summary:
The Service Management Analyst role will support the life cycle management activities associated with IT assets (i.e.: hardware, mobility devices, peripheral equipment). The role is responsible for the day to day activities required to manage and maintain the accuracy of assets utilizing electronic tools to perform review, verification and reporting of assets. This includes the deployment and tracking of assets in AMDB/CMDB in ServiceNow and making sure this is a true representation of the various devices in the Stockrooms in different locations working closely with client onsite staff and vendor counterparts.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with Field Services and iops weekly to vette new hires both FTE, Contractors, Intern and Field users.
- Receive an email weekly of new hire names and locations.
- Look up each name to confirm they are in the CMDB and not a duplicate.
- Confirm there is a new hire ticket for each user.
- Report back daily with updates until all are completed.
- Work with Presidio / Client on adding and updating assets for Global Expansion
- Review shared spreadsheet for updates.
- Add assets not in the system.
- Update asset to reflect in used/assigned to
- Close task in Service now with updated assets
- Receive tickets in ServiceNow for overseas countries.
- Add them to a shared spreadsheet.
- Review for updates and act accordingly
- Review and assign tickets in ServiceNow.
- Review all Check Stock tickets to ensure they’re in the correct queue based on location.
- Vette each ticket according to the clients’ requirements
- Send ticket for approval if needed.
- Update each task and assign tasks to onsite support to be processed.
- Manages / Forecast stock.
- Work with onsite ITAM Support / FBS(Vendor) to ensure stock levels are kept.
- Forecast stock (Assets / Consumables) to be ordered and held in vendor warehouse(Ireland /UK)
- Set up stock rules within ServiceNow for stock rooms.
- Set up virtual stock rooms, per country.
- Ensure stock is transferred virtually from vendor to onsite stock room (ASN File)
- Daily / BAU
- Be available to answer onsite questions regarding asset and stock tickets/deployments from the onsite team and client.
YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:
- 5-7 years experience in an IT industry or IT roles, ideally in an asset management role for 2 years.
- Excellent knowledge of CMDB/AMDB and how updates occur from different data sources
- Strong Excel Skills for data analysis and reporting
