Description:
We are looking for a IT Business Analyst (Corporate) to join our IT team here at Harrods. You will be part of a team of Business Analysts aligned to a specific Business Domain within Harrods, defining and maintaining business processes and functions to be supported by a range of Harrods applications.
This is a 12 Month FTC position for Maternity Cover

Responsibilities:
As the IT Business Analyst you will be responsible for delivering a consistent, clear and detailed set of business requirements for Information Technology projects and programmes, analysing and documenting business requirements for key processes and producing clear, accurate, agreed documentation.
You will also:
- Break down complex problems into simple concepts, with the ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected and unrelated artefacts and conflicting information and pull it together into a cohesive whole
- Identify the core of the problem, establishing priorities with the ability to ‘think on your feet’, anticipate complications, and understand the implications of new technology and business initiatives
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
- Deliver requirement artefacts according to standard templates, including user stories, using business language, ensuring requirements are robust, unambiguous and testable
