The Building People are seeking a qualified IT Business Analyst (Nuvolo) to support a growing portfolio of federal government, local government, non-profit, and commercial customers – all while operating remotely.

  • The IT Business Analyst (Nuvolo) will provide direct consulting services in assisting with the implementation of functional solutions.
  • Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish functional requirements, troubleshoot issues, provide suggestions and ideas to improve the solution.
  • Document, develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, use cases, feature files, and flowcharts for developers to follow.
  • Translate highly technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements to communicate with internal and external clients.
  • Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures and develop test cases in support of the overall quality assurance process.
  • Perform testing of implemented requirements, lead and support User Acceptance Testing, collect/document results, evaluate and act on feedback.
  • Work on deliverables including requirements capturing, training guides, design documents and training videos.
  • Deliver online training as needed, develop client presentations, lead implementations.
  • Our positions may require a background screening and clearance directly from the Government.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
  • Experience with Nuvolo.
  • Other Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) experience a bonus, such as Archibus, TRIRIGA, ServiceNow WSD, Maximo, FMSystems.
  • Ability to interpret documented requirements and communicate with technical teams.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders, developers, testers, and technical staff.
  • Experience documenting, testing, training, and implementing applications.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate independently.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Use of tools such as Confluence and JIRA a plus.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Self-motivated and has the desire to always deliver with excellence.
  • Organized with the ability to multitask.
  • High attention to detail.
  • US Citizenship.
  • Ability to meet Federal & DoD Gov’t security background checks, HSPD-12, Fingerprinting, plus agency-specific screening.
  • Ability to operate within a NIST 800-171 compliant security environment internally and able to support all client-required cyber security data and operational processes. Value and protect company, colleague, and customer data.
  • 2+ years successfully working from home or a remote location, with minimal supervision. Environment must provide adequate workspace and high-speed internet connectivity.
