Description:
Main Duties:
- Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and support of the core business applications in Tuath, including our property and financial systems
- To identify software requirements by analysing user business requirements and using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language and logic
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
- Ability to conduct formal cost/benefit analysis of user business requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Responsible for Developing and maintain software applications and databases by evaluating client needs; analysing requirements; and developing software solutions as per the IT department standards
- To be able to confirm software program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or code
- Maintain computer systems and programming guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
Training:
- Provide training to end users as required
- Attend /Request training appropriate to the role
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational courses; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional bodies
- To positively promote the Association in all activities
- Any other duties which are consistent with your role
