Role:
The IT Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in our IT department, to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and deliver effective IT solutions. This position requires collaboration with stakeholders across various departments to understand business goals and objectives, translating them into actionable requirements, and overseeing the development and implementation of solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT business analyst, with experience in EDI, ERP systems (e.g., Syspro, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, techniques and best practices.
- Strong communication analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures that business needs are met by the corresponding technology products and services by identifying the business requirements and assessing the value, impact, and risks involved, while also estimating the necessary investment and effort to achieve the anticipated outcome.
- Supporting operations, including data/process mapping, validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Creating and updating reports and dashboards in Power BI to provide insights and analytics for various business functions.
- Helping to maintain and enhance our business systems, such as ERP, WMS, EDI and integration software.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
- Develop detailed business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications and user stories to articulate business needs and solution requirements.
- Work closely with IT development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Support solution design sessions, providing expertise on best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, developers, and testers to ensure smooth execution and delivery of projects
