JOB SUMMARY: Under the Direction of the Team Leader/Manager or designee, the Data Refresh Analyst is responsible for updating client databases with current data files in an accurate, timely manner in our Software-as-a-Service product. The Data Refresh Analyst works within an interdisciplinary team focused on excellent customer experience. This is a full time, salaried position, with salary commensurate with education, experience, and contribution.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma plus minimum of 2 years college or professional work experience, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in computer file management, organization, and naming conventions, with a working knowledge of basic computer file systems. SQL knowledge is a plus!
  • Must understand or have interest in learning software development lifecycle.
  • Must be a quick learner and adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills.
  • Must demonstrate passion for providing excellent customer experience.
  • Must be analytical with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to exercise mature judgment and structured decision-making.
  • Must show strong attention to detail coupled with a desire to deliver accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard.
  • Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently while managing multiple projects, assignments and/or responsibilities.
  • Must be a team player, considerate of the needs and interests of others.
  • Must “take ownership” i.e. demonstrate a reliable, proactive approach to tasks.
  • Must be highly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high energy, and demanding environment.
  • Experience or understanding of healthcare or health insurance-related data is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Amazon S3 is a plus.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skill

Responsibilities:

  1. Research and verify key pieces of information to ensure each data file is ready to be loaded.
  2. Identify, rename, and move the appropriate monthly/weekly data files and initiate the file loading process for each tenant assigned.
  3. Ensure the data files were loaded correctly.
  4. Actively document and track refresh/data related issues as they arise.
  5. Partner with internal teams to ensure that each refresh is client-ready when complete and that performance feedback is shared with responsible parties.
  6. Work closely with Team Lead to prioritize and address top accuracy issues.
  7. Manage own work including planning, strategizing, controlling quality, scheduling, and communicating with vendors and clients when needed.
  8. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  9. Demonstrate Company’s Core Competencies and values held within.
  10. Please note due to the exposure of PHI sensitive data - this role is considered to be a High Risk Role.

    JOB SCOPE: The incumbent is considered to be a fully competent professional who knows and applies a broad range of knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures that require independent thinking and judgement while working on new design and development tasks.
