As a Senior Network Manager, you’ll get involved in analyzing the way we do things and working with colleagues across a number of teams to make our processes better. This role is an opportunity to help shape the future of Amazon, because even small changes can transform our business.
A Day in the Life
Every day, you’ll focus on our business objectives – from increasing our service adoption to improving the overall Customer Experience – finding creative ways to make these happen. You’ll be part of a team driving major projects to standardize our processes and make improvements to our operations. That will involve being in regular contact with senior management and a wider group of stakeholders, internal and external, to define the project requirements and update them on status, risks, and impacts. You’ll also create communication plans to bring everyone up to speed with the new processes you implement. You will manage a portfolio of partners with Regional scope (e.g. Southern EU, Middle-EU), being accountable end-to-end for pickup networks of 30k+ locations, creating mechanisms to review business metrics, and drive cost-savings opportunities. You will be the face of Amazon to external stakeholders, aligning with internal stakeholders on investments agenda. You will provide business recommendations over the integrated countries strategy, keeping overall accountability on service performance.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Analyze data and gather feedback from stakeholders to identify any inefficiencies in current operations
- Establish frameworks to ensure that the balance between quality, speed, cost and other factors are optimized
- Share ideas with colleagues and leadership on how processes can be improved
- Regular reviews of process efficiencies, offering data-led solutions for changes that will see long-term improvements
- Identify and tackle intrinsically complex problems in an ambiguous environment with little to no guidance from direct manager;
- Lead end-to-end projects which may vary from CX enhancements, cost savings reductions and performance improvement, using advanced analytical skills (e.g. SQL data mining) and in-depth knowledge of the pickup points business (topology, speed, cost, quality, operations).
- Uncovers structural CX gaps, cost/profitability opportunities and identify ways to eliminate points of failure.
- Drive structural solutions across regions from scratch (e.g. automating operations, creating new tools)
- Support and facilitate contract negotiations
- Understand the region’s business strategy and how to best complement / support it, at the highest quality and at the lowest cost.
Basic Qualifications
- A degree in business, supply chain, transportation, economics or a technical field
- Relevant experience working in a supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting role
- Relevant experience in project management or management consulting including handling multiple ongoing projects
- Relevant experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
