Description:

DESCRIPTION:

  • Provide first point of IT Support contact for all staff across the network.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to resolution and/or escalate to supplier or staff as required.
  • Log all incidents and service requests in School’s designated service desk system.
  • Manage queries & complaints, planning and prioritising systematically to minimise backlog and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure system and data security is maintained at a high standard, ensuring the integrity of the School’s network is not compromised.
  • Expedite the repair of hardware faults and software configuration problems, notifying or forwarding to relevant personnel/suppliers in a timely manner.
  • Monitor performance of School’s systems, ensuring issues are appropriately escalated and resolved.
  • Provide technical assistance to project teams and undertake technical project roles when required.
  • Demonstrate commitment to and promotion of a culture of service excellence and continual improvement within the IT department.
  • Maintain and develop excellent working relationships with key suppliers, conducting dealings in a professional and appropriate manner.
  • Participates in staff bonding activities organized by the School.
  • Be a role model to students, uphold the professional and personal qualities required of the educational profession to achieve the best student outcomes.
  • Embrace the values of openness, collaboration and lifelong learning as a staff of the school.
  • Carries out any other duties as assigned by the Manager or Principal.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Diploma in IT/Electronics, NITEC in Technology or equivalent
  • At least 1-3 years of working experience in the related IT field
  • Good knowledge in networking, web and home network configuration
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and IT Networks
  • Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

The role of IT Executive is to preserve the good condition of IT infrastructure and ensure that IT facilities are safe and well-functioning especially in the support to teaching and learning. He/she plays an important role in providing a safe and conducive learning environment for the students and working environment for the staff.
