ITPartners+ is looking for a Field Support Engineer to work with our partners in Middlesex and Monmouth Counties on front-line IT issues

YOUR SKILLS AND BACKGROUND:
- Associate degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years in a help desk or equivalent role
- Experience with remote monitoring and ticketing software (preferred)
- Basic networking, server and hardware knowledge
- COMPTIA A+ Network+ Certifications (preferred)
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Patience to deal with difficult people and situations (both onsite and via phone)
- Current driver’s license and access to a vehicle to be used for scheduled and emergency onsite appointments
- Motivated to learn and adapt to areas you may be unfamiliar with
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic to mid-level IT tech support to our partners via onsite and remote means
- Engineer long-term solutions
- Monitor the progress of tickets and key partner support metrics
- Thoroughly document issues and resolutions and communicate with the team
- Setup hardware for installation and perform onsite deployments
- Provide best practices in your areas of expertise, taking on ownership and responsibility of at least one area
- Work with vendors to resolve partner issues
- Adapt to changing and varied workflow
- Use your knowledge and expertise to continually improve processes and partner support
