Description:
Overview:
NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for an IT Field Technician preferably based in Cheyenne or Torrington Wyoming. The IT Technician supports the Infrastructure division of NaphCare’s Information Technology group in maintaining in-house computer/server systems, desktops, and peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal performance.
**This is a fully remote position with the candidate preferably being located in Cheyenne, WY, Torrington, WY or close enough to be able to travel the entire state of Wyoming. This is a field position with travel up to 100%. Company vehicle provided for travel and expenses covered.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Install, modify, image, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
- FIFO Inventory management including documentation, ordering, and shipping.
- Shipping and receiving of computers and associated parts.
- CAT5/6 data cabling and terminations experience.
- Performs other related functions and duties as required.
RELATED EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of experience in supporting networking equipment, internet circuits, and troubleshooting related issues.
- General TCP/IP, Microsoft OS, Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Ability to logically troubleshoot in order to create innovative and practical solutions for problems as they arise.
- Ability to manage individual tasks and move projects towards known goals with minimal supervision.
- Communicate with end-users in order to provide support for systems.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in an IT Related Field of Study from an accredited institution preferred.
- High level of organizational and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
