You will be responsible for creating and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable identity solutions that support our internal and external users, applications, and systems. You will also work closely with various teams and vendors to ensure compliance, governance, and best practices for identity management across cloud and on-premises environments. This is a key architectural position, and you will need to be able to independently design solutions and make recommendations that affect functionality for the entire organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage identity solutions using Azure AD and Okta, including SSO, MFA, conditional access, identity governance, and identity protection.
  • Integrate identity workflows with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, and AWS, and leverage Azure AD as a basis for PAM type solutions.
  • Develop and maintain identity integrations with various applications and systems using standard protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, etc.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot identity issues and incidents, and provide root cause analysis and remediation.
  • Research and evaluate new identity technologies and trends, and provide guidance and recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Document and maintain identity architecture, policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT, engineering, product, security, and other teams to ensure alignment and coordination of identity solutions and initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in designing and implementing identity solutions using Azure AD and Okta.
  • Expert knowledge of identity protocols, standards, and best practices, such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, etc.
  • Experience with identity integrations with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, and AWS.
  • Experience with PAM solutions and concepts, such as privileged identities, just-in-time access, least privilege, etc.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect, Okta Certified Professional, or CISSP, are a plus.

Inclusion and Diversity are important to us. Synopsys considers all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, military veteran status, or disability.
