Tasks

  • Create software to improve the reliability of systems in production, fixing issues, responding to incidents and making sure that all our microservices are running smoothly
  • Use infrastructure as code (gitops) and develop components for fully automating infrastructure
  • Define, automate and maintain the software build and delivery process, using CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Helm, Terraform, Gradle etc.
  • Set up, improve and operate our GPU-based Kubernetes and Openshift clusters for distributed ONDEWO AI training and inferencing, NGINX, Docker Registry, Asterisk VOIP/SIP etc.
  • Support ONDEWO AI teams to engineer their microservices for Kubernetes and Openshift
  • Inspire the future product direction through ideas, prototypes and proof-of-concepts
  • Learn and use the newest developments and tools in DevOps, and expand your knowledge and skills in infrastructure automation, release engineering, and continuous integration & delivery

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in IT and >2 years experience as a Site Reliability Engineer
  • Experience with enterprise-wide deployments using Linux, Docker, Git, Kubernetes, OpenShift, gitops, Build-Pipelines and CI/CD Tooling (Jenkins, Gradle, etc)
  • Quality focus, detail-orientation, strive for efficiency and strong problem-solving skills
  • Passion for automating everything (Shell, Go, Python, Ruby, Ansible etc.).
  • Strong team player with ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in international teams
