Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual to join our bank as an Infrastructure Technician (End User Computing). The ideal candidate for this position needs to be an excellent problem solver with strong IT skills. In addition, they should enjoy a challenge and be able to stay on top of several tasks simultaneously. The hours are flexible up to 37.5 hours per week as required.
The role is predominantly to support the final stages of the Microsoft Office 365 roll-out, liaising and supporting clinical areas during in transition. The role will also agree lists of staff to be migrated at the same time, to minimise operational disruption.

This role is part of the Trusts Informatics Team and the post-holder will support the provision of 3 rd tier IT support and maintenance for all Trust departments within the IT Infrastructure discipline (Networks, End User Computing or Data Centre) to which they are assigned. This will also involve updating and managing incidents within the IT Service Desk ticketing system. The post holder will also be responsible for investigating reported faults, maintaining communications and liaising with users to effect appropriate repairs and achieving a satisfactory conclusion to faults within designated timescales and quality of service standards. The post holder is also required to analyse IT problems and design, test, document and implement appropriate solutions.
