We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure, managing a small team of IT professionals, and ensuring the seamless functioning of all technical systems within the organization, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, Azure and Virtual Desktops.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Fluency in English to articulate problems/solutions (flexibility to support US/EST time zone)
- 7+ years hands on administration/set-up experience on Microsoft 365 (MFA, Licenses, quarantined emails, changing passwords, etc.)
- 5+ years experience on Azure and Virtual Desktops.
- Some experience in CRM
- Team leadership, managing and mentoring a small team of technical staff.
- Communication skills to discuss with non-technical teams, explaining issues, causes and resolutions.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 2-3 IT professionals providing 1st line support.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Troubleshooting and Support:
- Provide technical support for staff and resolve escalated IT issues.
- Implement proactive measures to prevent system downtime.
- Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the maintenance, security, and performance of the company’s IT systems.
- Implement best practices for network and server infrastructure.
- Strategic Planning:
- Manage and coordinate IT projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and prioritize IT initiatives.
- Project Management:
- Manage and coordinate IT projects from initiation to completion.
- Security and Compliance:
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Vendor Management:
- Evaluate and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness.
