JOB SUMMARY:

In your role as IT user support engineer you are responsible for the Belden Olen IT client infrastructure. You work in team with the associates to give all colleagues an optimal IT experience.
Responsibilities:

Following topics are part of your job :

• You work together with Belden IT to make sure our IT infrastructure meets the highest cybersecurity demands.
• You offer first line user support in case of hardware or software questions and problems (predominantly Windows but also Unix environment). If required, you guide the user towards an escalation process into the Belden organization.
• You work together with the DevOps team to align infrastructure requirements and implementation of the R&D department.
• You initiate ordering or stock replenishment of client infrastructure.
• You track IT budget vs consumption.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Master degree or equivalent with 3+years of relevant working experience.
• Proactivity, assertiveness, leadership , enthusiasm, adaptability and diplomacy.
• Fluent communication.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Eager to learn.
