We have a team of 90 professional and support staff across two office locations.
We are seeking an experienced in-house IT Manager to join the Nexia team. Your will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure, drive innovation in technology projects and champion security measures. Your IT solutions will be pivotal in aligning IT solutions with our business objectives, making a lasting impact.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in relevant industry.
  • Qualification or degree in information technology, science or computer science preferred.
  • Excellent working knowledge across all relevant ICT technical areas (cyber and data security etc.).
  • Be able to articulate clearly and concisely from end user to senior management.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of applications/software for professional service/public practice is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond and action help desk queries;
  • Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, laptops and hardware;
  • Administration of servers including running scripts of SQL, AD, Exchange, Spam filter and AV;
  • Running regular checks on network and data security;
  • Implementing and maintain cybersecurity measures to safeguard company assets;
  • Ensuring disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and monitored;
  • Monitor changing network technology and deliver technological updates;
