Description:

SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented IT Manager we a strong background in Project Governance and Portfolio Planning. The ideal candidate will have experience in standardizing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects throughout the organization. This individual will also be responsible for promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

SKILLS

Project Governance

  • Ability to build meaningful metrics
  • Partnering across domains to use metrics to reduce risk

Executive Communications

  • Ability to plan 6 to 12 months in advance
  • Craft messaging at an executive level
  • Drive consistency across diverse set of inputs

Portfolio Planning

  • Partnering with IT VPs and Directors as well as Domain Product owners
  • Collaborate with Vendor Management Office and IT Finance Team to drive overall governance improvements and savings
  • Drive consistency of communications across IT Domains and Business Units
  • Extensive comprehension of financials and ability to actively participate in Long Range Planning

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful system implementations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Knowledge of retail industry processes and best practices

Responsibilities:

  • Project governance
  • Develop and implement the project governance policies, and procedures for IT projects
  • Monitor and report on the performance, status, and outcomes of IT projects
  • Portfolio planning
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure alignment and consistent communication
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in project governance and portfolio management/planning
