We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time permanent, IT Manager to help grow and lead the IT Department at Reception House. The IT Manager will be responsible for the overall management of IT systems and infrastructure. They will create and manage the IT budget, directly manage IT staff and be involved in decisions making as part of the Senior Leadership Team. The IT Manager is responsible for day to day IT operations, ensuring employees have the IT support they need, and cybersecurity and network privacy is maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of all Reception House technical inventory, including all computer hardware, cell phones, printers, etc.
  • Act as the main point of contact for IT and manage helpdesk tickets providing support to employees where needed.
  • Daily Maintenance of internal systems and responding to inquires and issues related to them.
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of IT employees.
  • Update and fix issues in Excel and Google Sheets databases, creating and managing complex Macros, formulas, and app scripts.
  • Administer user accounts and permissions through Active Directory, maintaining secure access and operations.
  • Manage all technical software licenses and products used, source and implement new hardware and software when needed.
  • Manage, create and implement applicable IT policies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT systems utilizing JavaScript and SQL; proficiency in Python and Web development is a bonus.
  • Mastery in Microsoft Power Automate and Approvals to streamline processes and manage workflows efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough data analyses, manage sophisticated databases, and maintain cloud services to aid organizational decision-making.
  • Ensure the IT infrastructure is robust, scalable, and flexible, ready to support diverse locations within the region.
  • Implement cybersecurity best practices to ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Work with Human Resources to source and organize training resources for staff and lead periodic training sessions.
  • Develop an onboarding and offboarding system for all IT related matters.
  • Review the existing phone and internet services and assist with making required changes for all of our locations.
  • Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve staff work experience.
  • Assist with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of infrastructure, network, and system hardware.
