Description:

We are seeking an energetic and customer service oriented part-time IT Network Technician to join our IT team. The IT Network Technician will provide network support during facility events to operational computer networks.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED
- Microsoft Certified Professional- Windows Server 2003 is required plus three years directly related experience or the equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education
- Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Windows XP Professional OS, Windows 7 OS, MS Office Suite, DNS, WINS, DHCP, TCP/IP
- Must be able to work nights and weekends with a flexible schedule
- Must be customer-service oriented, have a fan-friendly attitude and professional appearance at all times
- Knowledge of the tools, equipment and materials common to the data network distribution trades

Responsibilities:
- Assemble and configure computers, printers, peripherals, network components and associated services for deployment
- Configure, install and maintain basic network operations, including assembly of network hardware, installation of software and firmware components and provide assistance to the network administrator
- Perform continuous network troubleshooting to isolate, prevent and as required, diagnose network problems and anomalies
- Provide users with network technical support and respond to trouble tickets generated by users
- Provide support for point-of-sales hardware and software O/S
- Respond to needs and questions of users concerning their access of network resources
- Advanced abilities to diagnose application errors, operate in a multi level fiber/copper network distribution with multitasking applications
- Documents all work
