QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field with seven years of experience in operational performance or change management.
  • Very good knowledge (Level 5) spoken and written English and French.
  • Proficient in Prosci, SAFe, Lean Agile
  • Proven experience in IT operations with a focus on processes, communications, performance monitoring, metrics and optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of performance analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in change management and organizational development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; Strong communication, active listening and influencing skills.
  • Highly organized, with ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Relevant certifications or credentials such as CCMP, Prosci, SAFe, Lean Agile, ITIL or similar are assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for IT operational performance, communications and change management. Identify risks, readiness and anticipated points of resistance and develop plans to mitigate concerns.
  • Implement and maintain tools for monitoring operational performance with links to institutional priorities, goals and objectives. Analyze performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain documentation for performance monitoring and optimization of processes. Create and update procedures for performance-related tasks.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance; collaborate with teams to integrate change management activities into plans.
  • Define and execute management coaching to support IT leaders. Work with managers and leaders to build their change leadership capabilities. Implement strategies to overcome resistance and promote a positive change culture within the IT operating model.
  • Generate regular reports on IT operational performance and change management initiatives, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement. Present objectives and key results as well as recommendations to relevant leadership and stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels to keep stakeholders informed about upcoming changes and operational performance.
  • Serve as an advisor to managers and team members in the areas of change management, operational performance, the IT operating model, IT value chain enablement and related topics.
  • Guide the organization to the successful delivery of strategic outcome and value, assessing maturity and driving performance. Work closely with Managers and the PMO to develop and maintain a communications strategy.
    Plan and lead workshops for continual improvement. Participate in IT committees to advise on areas of expertise. Play an active role in the IITS dynamic social and work environment to enable creativity and safety.
