ABOUT US

The partnership of EFW Radiology owns and operates twelve community-based clinics providing Diagnostic Imaging, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Pain Management services.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Regular, Full-Time, IT Operations Manager (FTE 1.0). Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, the IT Operations Manager will lead the IT service team while developing and overseeing processes. This includes but not limited to, dedication to managing the technology, data, IT systems, and applications supporting the delivery of excellent patient care.
The IT Operations Manager will also be detail-oriented, organized and have excellent interpersonal skills while being familiar with clinic workflows to better support critical radiology applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides leadership and direction to IT service team, including developing processes and guidelines and oversight of the IT ticketing system.
  • Provides input into IT budget and reviews and approves invoices under the terms of EFW’s Decision Authority Matrix.
  • Participates in EFW’s management team meetings, proactively addressing modality and department’ IT core needs and concerns as well as providing input on cybersecurity, information security and IT governance.
  • Schedules IT service on-call coverage rotation to provide support during non-business hours.
  • Provides assistance with technical support when needed
  • Ability to develop a plan and, in some cases, a full project charter that describes the goals and objectives / expected outcomes for a specific project; the technical plan to achieve the outcomes; and the scope of work and roles / responsibilities of all parties involved in the project.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to document a design and rollout strategy for projects with the correct sequence of steps / tasks as required.
  • Work closely with vendors to establish the correct contractual obligations as required to ensure the project outcomes are aligned.
  • Establish a regular progress update process, managing all tasks and ensuring they are completed per plan; identify tasks that are behind schedule and require escalation.
  • Compile an issues list on each project to ensure unplanned for activities are accounted for and are managed to schedule.
  • Develop and implement a proper communication plan for all parties, including the user community; where required, liaise with staff involved in any change management activity for a specific project and how the project will affect end users.
  • Where possible, develop skills in the software or hardware systems being deployed to provide an end-to-end view of the project and determine if there are any gaps to be addressed.
  • Adheres to all privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures as they relate to EFW, our patients and our employees.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
