Description:

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the IT Business Partner, the IT Operations Specialist will work as part of the Dundalk IT team and collaborate with the global IT team to support and execute WuXi Dundalk site IT operations. This role will be responsible for participating in service improvement initiatives and projects as assigned. The IT Operations Specialist will be key in the design and implementation of IT policies and protocols in line with corporate and legal policies and procedures. This role will also support service improvement initiatives and projects as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT support and / or IT operations, ideally in regulatory manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar degree
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills
  • Experiences in collaboration within international teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to think critically and demonstrate troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Self-starter and self-motivated; organized with good attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to adjust workloads based on changing priorities
  • Results oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a short period of time
  • Collaborative and inclusive approach to work and your colleagues
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT site services following the service catalogue and service level agreements, including laptop imaging, Help Desk and Service Desk support
  • Collaborate with the global IT organization to maintain the IT Service in alignment with global & site specific IT services
  • Provide all assigned IT Service Operations tasks as assigned for the primary assigned site and any other assigned sites
  • Participate in local and global IT projects and coordinate roll-out of same on local site level
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules
  • Perform all duties in accordance with GMP requirements, SOPs and controlled documents
  • Will be flexible to take on additional tasks and responsibilities at the discretion of the IT Business Partner
  • Will act as a role model for the IT function and also the wider organisation in adherence to the WuXi corporate core values and PROUD culture
