Description:
This role will be based in Old Admiralty Building, London. You will be required to attend the office five days a week (Monday to Friday) and may occasionally be required to travel to other DBT Offices.

- Problem management. Help team to investigate, resolve and anticipate problems. You can co-ordinate with the team to investigate problems, implement solutions and take preventive measures.
- Technical knowledge. Good grasp of networking, cloud, project management and security concepts to help with project delivery. Good to have administration experience of Workspace One.
- Experience. Strong technical experience in Windows, Macs, Virtual platforms and mobile devices

This role can only be worked from within the UK, not overseas. Travel to your primary office location will not be paid for by DBT, but costs for travel to an office which is not your main location will be covered.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are expanding our DDaT team to keep up with the rapidly changing world. This role reports to the IT Operations Service Stability Engineer (SSE), providing the direct link between DBT and its supply partners to ensure that our interests are actioned as we require and that we maintain control. This ensures that stakeholders are kept informed of major incidents and problems threatening the DBT estate.
As an IT Operations Technical Engineer, you will be working closely with the SSE along with the rest of DDaT to provide IT services to allow DBT to deliver technical projects.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be:
- Working independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Assisting the SSE to troubleshoot and identify incidents.
- Working with relevant teams to resolve emerging and recurring problems.
- Helping to manage problems through to resolution.
- Gap filling areas in IT Operations Services where technical skills are required to maintain IT Operational Services.
- Assisting in IT Operations projects.
- Assisting and providing support to IT Operations Services teammates.
- A Technical engineer across IT Operation services for escalations
