JOB SUMMARY:

DeRisk Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Principal Consultant with expertise in Service Management and ITIL/KAFKA. As an IT Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and leading the implementation of IT service management practices and processes within client organizations. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, assess their current IT service management capabilities, and develop and implement strategies and solutions to optimize IT service delivery.
Skill Summary Technical skills (Required - Mandatory) Messaging tools:

Apache Kafka Technical skills (Required - Nice to have) :MQ, IIB, BMC Remedy, Service now OS: Unix, Windows Scripting skills: Advanced Shell and Perl Language skills needed: English, German is optional People skills

  • Experience in running operations with ITIL processes / ITIL certified.
  • Excellent Analytical and troubleshooting skill.
  • Excellent in Verbal, written communication.
  • Creative thinking in implementing Service improvements (automation, incident reduction, etc.).
  • Experienced in involved RFPs and presentations skills. Other skills:
  • Expertise on scripting/automation to automate the administration/manual tasks.
  • A Proven client interaction, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong team spirit and relationship management skills, customer focused Additional soft skills:

  • Plan/Build/Migration and Maintenance activities L3 support for Kafka
  • Installation, configuration, and system administration of the Kafka (servers and clients).
  • Manage and configuring Kafka APIs (Admin, Producer, Consumer, Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect etc..,)
  • Administration and maintenance of Pre-production and production environments.
  • Migrating the MW Products from Old version to latest versions.
  • Coordination with Client teams and IT Partners, Vendors.
  • Planning and executing Middleware DR Restoration drills in coordination with other teams.
  • Implement automations for significant reduction in manual efforts, it is essential to have hands-on experience in one of the Automation Platforms like SALTSTACK, Ansible.
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge, publish base articles and contribute to the team in the service. Handling on-call support, High severity issues, Root cause analysis and prepare appropriate documentation as required by Incident and Problem management. Writing solutions / estimates for RFPs. Driving automation using state-of-art automation platforms like SaltStack, shell, Ansible

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT service management

SKILLS:

  • Expert knowledge of ITIL and KAFKA frameworks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • ITIL and KAFKA certifications are a plus

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
