Position Overview
Milliken is in search of an SAP Product Analyst to join our team. This position will be a key player in the IT Department on a product team in the planning area and reports to the Product Analyst Lead. The Analyst will work with the team to understand requirements, develop specifications, perform configuration and reference file updates, perform system tests, deploy applications, train end users, and provide system support. The person in this position will play an essential role in digitally transforming Milliken’s forecasting and planning processes. This role is based out of our European corporate headquarters in Wigan UK and offers a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities Work with business associates to understand various forecasting and supply chain planning process Consult with users on new procedures to be implemented Design system changes and develop design documents Collaborate with developers to test new functionality Perform systems analysis and research Develop documentation and training material Perform system configuration Test programs and applications for conformance to specs Debug systems issues Coordinate efforts with both business and IT associates Become the expert on all Business Supply Chain processes at Milliken Provide help desk/ticket support for users Communicate new system functionality in training sessions with users Be involved in business process changes, working to match systems to new processes
Qualifications
Required BSc Degree in Information Systems or similar systems-related degree Strong understanding of forecasting and planning business processes SAP Production Planning (PP), Material Master Planning data experience Solid capability in Microsoft Office software suite Willingness to travel, occasionally for extended periods of time (1-2 weeks)
Preferred SAP IBP implementation and configuration focusing on Demand Planning and Inventory Optimization modules 2 full implementation cycles of SAP IBP Knowledge of S/4 HANA Experience operating in Agile Methodology Programming, SQL skills Experience working with multiple levels of an organization
