Description:

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary university degree or college diploma in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology or related discipline
  • 2-3 years direct project coordination experience; including the use of project management tools and techniques; preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Previous experience managing or coordinating technology and business application implementations; preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Minimum one Project Management certifications or designations required:

PMI - CAPM

  • COMPTIA Project+
  • Ability to work independently and also as a collaborative team player.
  • Ability to present project documents and relevant information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to collaboratively deliver ideas and concepts to any audience type.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong service orientation and attention to detail.
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License and use of vehicle.
  • A Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check and Pre-Employment Medical screening (including TB test, MMR, TD, Polio, and COVID-19 vaccination) is required.

Responsibilities:

The incumbent will:

  • Develop and administer project charters, plans, requirements documents, communication plans, and various project tracking documentation
  • Act as the lead facilitator for all project discussions/meetings throughout all stages of the project
  • Coordinate with Project Teams and Subject Matter Experts to ensure that all organization requirements are documented and scoped
  • Align project activities to ensure deliverables are met according to timeline, budget, resources and requirements
  • Track all project risks and issues to ensure proper documentation
  • Monitors progress of project and notifies key stakeholders to mitigate project risk
  • Builds and develop collaborative relationships with project team, internal and external
  • Identify opportunities to improve project methodology and practices for the organization
  • Actively contribute to the successful completion of assigned projects
