Newly signed-off requirement for an IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new Construction Project Management software

Newly signed-off requirement for an IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new Construction Project Management software.
As an IT Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the software implementation from start to finish and ensure that all deadlines are met.
This position requires the development and maintenance of close relationships with Construction Managers, Engineering Managers as well as internal Shared Services stakeholders (Finance, Operations, Sales).

Experience / Skills required -

  • Prior experience working in the Manufacturing / Utilities / Logistics / Construction industry
  • Exposure to Construction Project Management tools (beneficial) - EG - Primavera, Procore, InEight, Smartsheet, Autodesk.
  • Experience acting as a Project Manager for the implementation of a software product
  • Experience with cloud-based hosting platforms and version control tools
  • Demonstrable problem-solving project management experience and skills
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Budget management and resource allocation expertise
  • Organize and plan project tasks and schedules
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and key project participants
  • Stay aware of company goals and strategies to ensure projects align with business priorities
  • Facilitate and encourage collaboration across departments to ensure projects are completed successfully
  • Optimize project deliverables, schedule, and budgeting
  • Work with proposal teams to develop cost estimates and project plans
  • Create presentations and reports to communicate project status
  • Keep the project team focused on the end goal
  • Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills
  • A bachelor’s degree in project management, computer science, informational technology, or related fields may be recommended.
