JOB DESCRIPTION: IT PROJECT MANAGER (FINTECH)
Overview: We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and oversee key projects within our fintech organization. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology solutions aligned with business goals and objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as an IT Project Manager in the fintech or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Experience managing software development projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Certification in project management (PMP, Prince2) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate project activities, tasks, and dependencies across multiple teams.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Identify and mitigate project risks; escalate issues when necessary.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication and problem-solving.
