Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated individual to join Central Team eBusiness Services, which is a small specialist team, supporting all health boards/trusts and hosted organisations in Wales on a range of national projects. As part of the busy department, you will be responsible for taking forward strategic NHS Wales Projects. You will be responsible for supporting leads and business partners in each of the Organisations in Wales. You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience and have a background working in a structured and disciplined department, delivering services and support based on industry good practices. You must be proficient in the use of project management techniques and processes in the delivery of projects. Excellent presentation and communication skills are needed to present data and information in a clear, understandable manner both verbally and in written form. A strong commitment to achieving individual results and the goals of the team is important. You will be expected to provide evidence in your application to confirm that you meet all of the essential criteria’s for the position. All candidates will be expected to undertake an aptitude test and presentation based on a case study.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply
To prepare, plan and execute the full lifecycle of project management based on industry best practice, from inception to implementation and final delivery sign offs. This includes management of the requirements gathering development of project plans, development of sign off criteria’s and the preparation of project review documentation. To deliver activities within required timeline, quality and resources, including budget
To liaise with all consortium members in the production of project plans and to agree changes to plans. Ensure local plans remain aligned to national plans. This includes providing guidance and support in best practices, templates and approach to be used when preparing planning
