Job Description
We also advise on best-fit, future-proofed technology hardware, software, network, IoT solutions and smart building systems – delivering cost effective integrated approaches. And we can provide specialist services such as data centre moves and migration, IT project management and IT solution assurance.
We typically sit between our clients and the construction teams to drive the development and integration of:
Fiber & Copper structured cabling solutions
Intelligent building systems
Wireless networking
Audio video and collaboration technologies
IoT and 5G
End user technologies
Data centres
Comms room development
Our Real Estate Digital team have a vacancy for a consultant to work with clients in the fast-growing SMART building area, where you would be working to develop and implement organisational strategies and advanced disruptive technologies into the built environment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

To include:

  • Managing full end to end software products and solutions.
  • Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.
  • Helping to establish the overall success criteria for the Programme, including all projects, time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
  • Manage project resources effectively, including, suppliers, developers, designers, and testers.
  • Manage project documentation and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies like sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and user stories.
  • creating solutions to requirements and influencing strategic design principles.
  • Managing the IT change control process.
  • Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive service delivery strategy, ensuring a seamless transition for users.
  • Maintain close collaboration with post-launch support teams to ensure ongoing product quality and user satisfaction.

Qualifications
-

Proven experience of practicing Agile methodologies and use of software development frameworks such as Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban.

  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and service delivery best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
  • Resourceful problem-solver, leveraging internal and partner resources where and when needed to do what’s right for the customer and for the organisation.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and build relationships.
  • Good stakeholder management, self-motivated, with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As an IT Project Manager you will provide support on major IT Programme and Commercial Management Commissions, taking responsibility for all aspects of surrounding the delivery of any technical solutions or software delivery. You will ensure client objectives are met and that projects are delivered on schedule, within cost targets and meet the appropriate quality standards.
  • You will need to be able to work in partnership with our clients to advise on how technology can help overcome business challenges. You will be expected to push the boundaries of technology and stretch the imagination of our clients by developing with them, the best in class, most flexible and future proofed solutions. You can then articulate the solution to audiences of both business and technical decision makers.
  • You will work on commissions of varying sizes and complexity, engage with stakeholders to manage design and coordination within the construction programme.
