Description:
TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: IT Quality Assurance (QA) within the Corporate Services Division at Pretoria, Gauteng.
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced IT Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. The IT QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software and IT systems through thorough testing and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with developers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality IT solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Certifications in quality assurance or software testing (advantageous)
- Proven work experience in software development
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum
- Solid knowledge of SQL400 and scripting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and oversee product inspection and testing for quality and conformance to specification and deliverables
- Create detailed test cases, scenarios, and scripts to verify functionality, performance, usability, and reliability of software applications
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Track quality assurance metrics
- Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
