We are currently seeking a IT Security Analyst - State Government & Healthcare to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas (US-AR), United States (US).

We are currently seeking a State Security Analyst to join our team in the United States (US).
This security analyst, working closely with other analysts, will be a key contributor in providing cyber security advisory services. These services include: evaluating the effectiveness of security programs, assessing risks, and vulnerabilities, identifying control gaps, reviewing vendor reports for accuracy, and managing remediation efforts. The candidate may also conduct independent security and privacy control assessments or contribute to security independent verification and validation (IV&V) activities.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Review of relevant laws and regulations for security and privacy control requirements
  • Mapping of existing policies and standards to the appropriate framework(s)
  • Providing consultation and input for client deliverables such as system security plans, security control assessments, and information system risk assessments
  • Contributing to the discovery, assessment, and analysis of vulnerabilities and remediation efforts
  • Assessing technical compliance of systems against specified frameworks/requirements
  • Identifying and documenting detailed remediation recommendations
  • Recommending updates to security policies, standards, and procedures

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years combined experience working with:
  • Vulnerability scans, penetration testing, with analysis and reporting
  • NIST, ACA, CMS MARS-E, HIPAA Frameworks
  • Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC), drafting security plans, conducting risk assessments
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related fields
  • Hold one or more security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SSCP, CISA

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in a multi-vendor environment
  • Working knowledge of cloud security (Azure/AWS)

Responsibilities:
