Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on experience with operational knowledge of Microsoft security solutions. This role will involve advising our IT security team on security best practices related to MS 365 and MS Azure, as well as collaborating with service providers. The focus will be on hands-on tasks rather than strategic or governance responsibilities.

Tasks & Activities:

  • Advise the IT security team on security best practices for MS 365 and MS Azure.
  • Analyze reports related to various security services such as web filtering, SOC activities, security incidents, vulnerability management, etc.
  • Contribute to draft assessments of process maturity according to standards such as NIST CSF.
  • Provide documentation support for internal or external audits.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly Key Risk Indicator (KRI) reports.
  • Review security-related documentation such as policies, processes, or procedures.
  • Develop MS Office materials to support security requirement creation or improvement.
  • Perform market analysis of different security solutions and concepts.
  • Support daily tasks such as incident management, user request management, and BAU tasks.
  • Monitor security sources to identify and assess new or emerging threats and risks.
  • Prepare draft assessments for data location framework (DLF) reviews.
  • Assist in internal controls framework (ICF) review exercises.
  • Support business continuity or disaster recovery assignments and cybersecurity exercise preparations.
  • Assist with other tasks as necessary, such as organizing meetings, drafting agendas, or advising on security topics.

Profile:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT security or related fields for a consultant.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or relevant field required.
  • Solid understanding of the current IT security threat landscape and countermeasures.
  • Experience with MS 365 security administration and MS Azure management and hardening.
  • Extensive knowledge of contemporary IT security concepts, solutions, and tools.
  • Experience in project management for IT security projects.
  • Strong communication skills in English (other languages beneficial).
  • Ability to independently undertake tasks or manage projects with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in service delivery management, vendor management, and relationship management is preferred.
  • Valid work permit in Luxembourg is a must.
