Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious person who is not afraid of asking critical questions and that constantly strives for improvement. On top of that you will bring:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer security, or related technical discipline coupled with one year of experience in information technology
Responsibilities:
As an IT Security Officer you will work in an international team of experts in IT Security. We monitor and analyse all information to secure all levels of the organization and external partners. You would do this by:
- Monitoring and analysing information security alerts from SIEM, infrastructure devices and information systems,
- Ensuring that all incidents, alerts and exceptions are responded to in accordance with established procedures,
- Escalating events to a 2nd Line Security Analyst,
- Being responsible for SOC work instructions, ensuring they are reviewed and amended,
- Maintaining coherence in security concepts, tools and best practices
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious person who is not afraid of asking critical questions and that constantly strives for improvement. On top of that you will bring:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer security, or related technical discipline coupled with one year of experience in information technology.
Furthermore, ideally you bring:
- Experience of vulnerabilities threats and security incidents assessment,
- Familiarity with security scanners, SIEM, monitoring, auditing and intrusion detection systems, and forensic response preferred,
- Familiarity with threat intelligence, alerts, vulnerabilities, and anti-virus software preferred,
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of employees,
- Ability to work under time pressure.
- Willingness to work in shifts (24/7/365)
