JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Business Application Team Lead at Raute Oyj, you will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals in the development and maintenance of business applications that meet our clients’ needs. Additionally, you will oversee the development and upkeep of our IT service catalogue, ensuring it accurately reflects our offerings and capabilities.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven leadership experience in managing software development teams.
  • Strong background in software development and application lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated experience with ITSM tools and a thorough understanding of ITIL processes, particularly in service catalogue management.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills, with proficiency in working across various teams.
  • Fluent English and basic Finnish skills
    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications in ITIL or equivalent are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of developers and IT professionals in designing, developing, and maintaining business applications.
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Work closely with other IT and business stakeholders to ensure that businessapplications align with company goals and customer needs.
  • Develop, update, and maintain the IT service catalogue, ensuring it is comprehensive and up-to-date with all service offerings.
  • Implement best practices and standards in software development and service catalog management.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business applications and service delivery processes.
