Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 80% remotely!
As an IT Service Manager, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution, overseeing the ongoing supply and support of IT services. You will serve as the single point of contact for any inquiries related to the provision of these services, ensuring smooth operations within the organization’s IT Target Operating Model.

Responsibilities:

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand the service, its infrastructure, and its business value
  • Own the release management process, ensuring compliance with enterprise procedures
  • Manage incident and production support
  • Ensure data required for Operational Data documentation is provided
  • Proactively monitor service performance using available tools
  • Coordinate infrastructure activities such as patching and upgrades
  • Progress infrastructure service design changes with solution architects
  • Communicate with stakeholders for service inquiries
  • Participate in project prioritization with product and delivery leads
  • Manage all Keep The Lights On activities
  • Ensure the services comply with group infrastructure standards:
  • Ensure IT service models are accurate
  • Ensure Operation Level Agreements (OLAs) are Reviewed and understood
  • Compliance to data governance and periodic review in tools
  • Ensure Service Continuity plans are maintained and routinely tested

YOU’RE IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

  • IT knowledge for troubleshooting and communication with IT teams
  • Experience as an IT Service Owner
  • Experience in service, change, or incident management
  • Familiarity with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • Knowledge/experience in cloud-based infrastructure (preferably AWS)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive delivery focus
  • Hands-on experience in software development lifecycle
  • Fluent English
