REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Enginering or related studies.
• Previous experience leading agile teams as a Squad Lead or Senior Developer.
• Over 7 years of experience in cloud-native application development with a focus on microservices architecture.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, or RedHat OpenShift.
• At least 3 years of involvement in developing applications using containers (Docker), Kubernetes, EKS/AKS/GKE.
• Knowledge of modernizing legacy code through refactoring.
• Familiarity with converting application code (Engineering to Cloud-Microservices, API).
• Proficiency in constructing microservices, APIs, and transforming workloads into RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Proficiency with at least one enterprise development tool (Java or Node.js, dotnet) and experience with Front-end/UI frameworks like Angular or React.
• Proficiency in working with databases (RDMS or NoSQL).Strong hands-on experience applying DevOps/DevSecOps/Systems Reliability Engineering principles and creating/using a CI/CD pipeline.

SKILLS SET:

• Java Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, OpenShift Container Platform, Cloud Foundry
• Configuration Management of Existing OCP/ARO Clusters via Ansible Tower
• Experience with event-based architectures
• Leading agile teams in large projects requiring coordination between teams/squads
• Working with Product Owners/Managers
• Experience with Extreme Programming or SCRUM
• Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
• Certification as a developer on AWS, Red Hat OpenShift, or Azure

• Crafting and Implementing Solutions: Develop technical solutions for cloud migration and application modernization projects, leveraging technologies such as OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers, providing guidance and support throughout project lifecycles.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical expertise, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Technical Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert in areas such as RedHat OpenShift, AWS, Azure, and containerization technologies, providing insights and recommendations to both internal teams and clients.
• Project Management: Collaborate with program managers to define project scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Security Compliance: Ensure that all projects adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements, taking responsibility for full stack security design.Agile Methodologies: Lead agile teams, practicing DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies, and establishing/utilizing CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
