We are currently looking for a dynamic IT Technician – Level 1-2 for a role to hire for our client located in Montreal, QC and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC. who is a technology leader in electrification and automation, enabling a more sustainable and resource-efficient future. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • DEC in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft environments, including Microsoft Office 365, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with Windows 10-11.
  • Experience in user support.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing PCs and printers.
  • Experience with imaging laptops.
  • Knowledge/Experience of ticketing system: ServiceNow
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrate a good level of autonomy (good planning, good follow-up and accountability, initiative).
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
  • Bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken.
  • Has a car and a valid driving license.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform imaging of desktop and laptop computers as part of the MES project, involving 135 PCs and PC refresh.
  • Assign or update KBM user access, with a training session provided before assigning this task.
  • Manage SNOW Incident, Request, and Task Support tickets.
  • Handle user password management, including unlocking and resetting passwords.
  • Provide O365 support assistance.
  • Manage the addition and removal of computer assets from the Asset Management Database.
  • Prepare end-of-life (EOL) desktop and laptop computers for recycling.
  • Serve as a backup IT resource during vacations for each site.
