Description:

The Northern Alberta YMCA is looking for an IT Systems Administrator specializing in Microsoft security, business and productivity applications including Microsoft 365 suite of products, Azure Active Directory, and Defender. You will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing Microsoft solutions within the YMCA’s IT environment. Your knowledge and skillsets will play a pivotal role in helping the YMCA leverage Microsoft’s tools and platforms to enhance productivity, streamline operations and strengthen cyber security measures.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Configure, deploy and maintain Office 365 services, applications and tools to meet business requirements (including Azure Active Directory, Defender, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint and OneDrive)
  • Implement, monitor and enforce security best practices within the IT environment including security and compliance features, conditional access, data loss prevention and retention policies.
  • Coordinate IT team and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize Identity and Access Management needs and requirements that meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Implement and maintain endpoint device management systems policies, configurations and applications including Microsoft InTune, Apple Business Manager and Samsung Knox
  • Provide technical support to end-users ensuring a seamless digital experience through hardware, software, and connectivity troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Stay up to date with current and latest Microsoft 365 features, updates, and security best practices, as well as technologies emerging in the industry.
  • Make recommendations for adopting new technologies and functionality that can benefit the organization.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks, functions and duties as required.
