WHAT ARE MY RESPONSIBILITIES?

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve network and IT issues impacting the systems.
• Maintain system health by performing first and second-level troubleshooting for workstations, IP phones, cameras, printers, and software applications (Java, .Net, VC++, Python).
• Optimize performance by leveraging the IT system data and configuration to identify bottlenecks and improvements.
• Performing monitoring and maintenance activities in the VMware environment.
• Performing monitoring and maintenance activities in the Windows Active Directory domain.
• Performing monitoring and maintenance activities in the Linux environment.
• Troubleshooting software applications (Java, .Net, VC++, Python).
• Develop scripts and reports to automate tasks and streamline processes.
• Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for enhancement having a continuous improvement mindset.

WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE?

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of IT experience, with a focus on automation technology or airport logistics a plus.
• Must have knowledge/experience in managing software applications (Java, .Net, VC++) and Oracle database (SQL, PL/SQL) and be able to generate reports via SQL.
• Working knowledge in database (Oracle, SQL Server) for 1st-level troubleshooting, knowledge of database basic programming in SQL, PL/SQL, and generating reports via SQL.
• Hands-on development expertise in Java, .NET platform, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL. Knowledge of VC++ will be an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting network, server, workstation, and device issues (printers, scanners, IP phones, cameras).
• Hands-on experience in managing Windows AD and related technologies like Windows AD CA, DFS, and GPO.
• Strong knowledge or experience in managing any software applications (Java, .Net, VC++, Python).
• Experience with scripting languages for automation.
• Experience with VMware RHEL, Kafka Streams, Podman or Docker technologies is a plus.
• IT certifications (hardware/software) are a plus.
• Highly proactive attitude of ownership and towards learning new technologies
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate openly and effectively on all levels across the team, internally and externally.
