What’s the Role?An IT Supervisor II’s primary role is to supervise up to 15 professional and technical employees in the development, testing, and implementation of multiple complex software applications / systems. Provides expert line of business application / technology advice and monitors effective use of technology. Manages vendor escalations, contracts, and strategic relationships, as well as the alignment of products to business needs. Ensures continuity of application services in the event of system failures or other disruptions and maintains a Disaster Recovery Plan.

Responsibilities:

Some of the things you will be doing: (full job description is available upon request)Supervises the design, development, testing, and deployment of custom and commercial applications.Collaborates with cross-functional teams including cyber security, enterprise architecture, and infrastructure services, to ensure alignment with organizational technical standards and direction.Monitors project timelines, budgets, and resources and adjust workloads accordingly.Liaise with network administrators, server administrators, enterprise architects, cyber security analysts, external systems integrators, and software developers to assist with quality assurance, program logic, and technology alignment.Implements and oversees security protocols for applications, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.Provides technical leadership to project managers and programmers working on development project teams.
