Description:

BW Offshore is looking for a service-minded and helpful IT Support Administrator to join our IT & Systems team in Arendal office. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for IT support, ensuring smooth and efficient resolution of technical issues for our staff. This position is crucial in maintaining our IT infrastructure and supporting daily operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A few years of experience in a similar role are an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st line IT support both onsite and for other offices globally
  • Evaluate the criticality and urgency of issues assigning IT tickets accordingly
  • Monitor and manage IT incidents using our internal ticketing systems
  • Conduct IT orientation meetings for new employees
  • Prepare hardware, meeting rooms and office equipment
  • Collaborate with our senior network specialist for knowledge transfer
  • Support and manage firewalls, network infrastructure, and cloud services
  • Participate in IT projects
