Position Description
As an IT Analyst, you will be responsible for prioritizing user requirements, overseeing system upgrades and researching new tools. In this role, you should be highly analytical and able to understand business needs. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential. You also need to have hands-on experience with technical projects. As a IT Analyst you must also be knowledgeable in computer systems and network functionality. The ideal candidate will be able to work diligently and accurately and possess excellent problem-solving ability in order to fix issues and ensure functionality. Your goal will be to leverage technological solutions to meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business and technology needs
  • Designing, analyzing and implementing efficient IT systems
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements
  • Develop and analyze functional specifications
  • Gather feedback from end users about system performance
  • Keep abreast of technology trends and developments
  • Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers
  • Maintain and repair technological equipment and peripheral devices
  • Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated
  • Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality
  • Coordinate maintenance timing to lessen impact on the business
  • Offer timely technical support and teach users how to utilize technical solutions
  • Provide advice and technical training

Required Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Relevant certifications will be an advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT Analyst, IT Consultant or similar role
  • Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
  • Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
  • Understanding of business practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and Problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
