Description:

INTRODUCTION

Our client support Defence and Government clients with their bespoke IT systems, and they are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their team! You will be joining a small company, with growth potential and fantastic career development opportunities!
They are flexible on skillset, but you must have core Windows/Linux experience and be passionate and eager to learn new technologies.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Linux and/or Windows administration.
  • In depth knowledge of Windows 10/11 and O365.
  • Active Directory.
  • ITIL knowledge is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and happy to work in a client facing role.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for bespoke and COTS systems.
  • Perform incident management and put appropriate controls in to prevent security breaches.
  • Ensure client requests are actioned within strict SLAs and KPIs.
  • Perform project work to upgrade/implement new systems and technologies.
  • Design and install software and hardware.
  • Test and troubleshoot software and deploy applications.
