IT Support Officer (m/f/d)
(Full-time; 38.5 hours/week; unlimited)
Your responsibilities:
- Lifecycle management for hardware and software of university computers
- Consulting users to solve IT-based tasks and ensure proper and timely processing of day-to-day business
- Identify, analyze, solve and communicate incidents and problems (in accordance with ITIL).
- Identify, develop, implement, document and communicate sustainable changes to infrastructure, services and services from solutions developed in day-to-day operations
- Coordinate control and coordination activities within task-oriented teams in a professional manner
- Create and maintain process and technical documentation
- Ensure knowledge transfer to other employees and train new employees professionally
Your qualifications:
- Successfully completed dual vocational training or bachelor’s degree, in each case with subject-specific further training - or instead successfully completed master’s, technical college or university studies
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of MacOS, Linux and mobile systems an advantage
- Basic knowledge of scripting and automation, server; networking and telecommunication standards, technologies and products
- Certifications for Microsoft Server as well as MacOS, Linux advantageous
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
