IT Support Officer (m/f/d)
(Full-time; 38.5 hours/week; unlimited)

Your responsibilities:

  • Lifecycle management for hardware and software of university computers
  • Consulting users to solve IT-based tasks and ensure proper and timely processing of day-to-day business
  • Identify, analyze, solve and communicate incidents and problems (in accordance with ITIL).
  • Identify, develop, implement, document and communicate sustainable changes to infrastructure, services and services from solutions developed in day-to-day operations
  • Coordinate control and coordination activities within task-oriented teams in a professional manner
  • Create and maintain process and technical documentation
  • Ensure knowledge transfer to other employees and train new employees professionally

Your qualifications:

  • Successfully completed dual vocational training or bachelor’s degree, in each case with subject-specific further training - or instead successfully completed master’s, technical college or university studies
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of MacOS, Linux and mobile systems an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of scripting and automation, server; networking and telecommunication standards, technologies and products
  • Certifications for Microsoft Server as well as MacOS, Linux advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
